Load Tests:

At field we do the testing works like standard Penetration Test PILE LOAD test as well as PLATE LOAD TEST for determining the bearing strength of the soil as per I.S. norms. Plate Load test also conducted even below 8mt. depth at Upper Indrabati Aqueduct abutment over reviver Tel as per the requirement for design purposes. .

Non-Destructive Tests:

Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity tests and Rebound hammer tests are being conducted concrete structures; Pile integrity tests are also conducted. The Bureau of   Indian Standards has also developed different standards for Non destructive tests. IS 13311(Part1)1992, IS: 13311(Part2) 1992/reaffirmed on 1999 speaks about the tests of concrete using Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity testes and Rebound hammer tests. For Pile integrity test IS: 14893:2001 is the reference manual by Bureau of Indian standard. There are also large acceptance of American Standard of Testing Materials (ASTM) is there for the standard of NDT machines and methods.

NDT works has been conducted for Concrete piers of Ghodahada irrigation Project Branch canal of Ganjam District , roof slabs in block building at Polasara of Ganjam District and Columns of the Stadium of Malkangiri District in Odisha State.

Pile Load Test

This laboratory has conducted Pile load test for Parala Maharaja Govt. Engineering College at Brahampur for 150T capacity .

Mobile testing laboratory facility is available for various important tests like in situ soil density, NDT, collection of undisturbed soil samples .
